With the Albatros heat pump, OCHSNER has now developed a heating system that makes air the heat source for large-volume buildings. At an outside air temperature of 2 °C, this has a heating output of 384 kW with a heating water flow temperature of 45 °C and at 82 °C even 412 kW. Even at an outside air temperature of -20 °C, 72 °C can still be achieved. This is achieved by using new compressors and highly developed heat pump system technology. These heating systems have weather-controlled control and can be operated with heat or cold, and heating and cooling modes are also possible. The future-proof R1234yf with a GWP (global warming potential) of just four is used as the coolant. The Albatros heat pump weighs 9.6 tons and measures 8 x 2.4 x 2.7 m (L x W x H). The defrost control via hot gas and reversal of the refrigeration circuit is demand-oriented with high efficiency and reliability. The ten high-performance fans have a total output of 150,000 m³ per hour of volume flow and are also equipped with a special, electronic, demand-dependent control system. The reversible refrigeration circuit is equipped with appropriate oil cooling in order to achieve the operating data mentioned. A silent mode allows specifications regarding noise emissions to be taken into account.
